UK BBQ Events Calendar
The UK BBQ scene is growing fast, with more festivals, open days, community cookouts and live-fire events popping up across the country every year.
This calendar is my best shot at bringing everything together in one place. It’s a simple, community-driven guide to what’s happening, where it’s taking place and when you can get involved. There’s no brand bias or hidden agenda, just a shared love of good food, outdoor cooking and the people who make the UK BBQ scene what it is.
The focus here is on events that are open to the wider BBQ community. I won’t be listing every paid masterclass or private cooking course taking place around the UK, as there are simply too many to keep track of. Classes may still be included where they form part of a larger festival, open day or community event.

Meatopia – Glasgow
After blowing Glasgow’s mind (and tastebuds) in 2025, Meatopia On-Fire is back for 2026 — bringing the smoke, the flavour, and the fire-powered chaos to SWG3 from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th June. If you missed last year’s smoky scenes pouring out of Victorian warehouses while world-class chefs slung dishes over live flames… don’t make that mistake twice. This is Glasgow’s only proper live-fire food festival – part food heaven, part music-fuelled carnage. Think 40+ chefs from across the globe, slinging one dish each, cooked low ‘n slow or hot ‘n fast over wood or charcoal only. Add banging DJ sets, roaming brass bands, killer cocktails, and a crowd that just gets it. If you love BBQ, fire-cooked food, good drink and big vibes — Glasgow’s Meatopia is calling.
